Reimagining the Existing Space Through High-End Design
The dealership’s Service Drop Off area is the primary focus of this project’s first construction phase. Previously, the existing space where customers dropped off their vehicles for service was open-air, exposing both them and the dealership’s employees to the elements. To remedy this, the project team used BIM technology to enclose the four-lane space, adding eight overhead doors, and incorporating a new heating, ventilation, sprinklers, and lighting and air conditioning systems for a comfortable service experience.
During the first phase of the renovation, the team constructed a large, temporary enclosure to serve as the drop-off area in order to provide clients with a warm, covered space away from the rain and weather.
In addition to the service area, the dealership’s lounge, quiet room, kid’s room, and boutique are all recreated and equipped with high-end finishes that reflect the premium automotive services Johnson Automotive provides its customers.

Elevating Dealership Sales Space with New Construction
In order to keep the dealership fully operational during construction, the project team operates on an adjusted schedule to ensure any work that is loud and/or in an occupied part of the building is performed before or after business hours. During the second phase of construction, the client and its operations move into the newly renovated side from Phase One in order to continue serving its clients without interruption. This portion of the renovation and addition includes a revamped showroom and sold-car delivery area, as well as a new exterior and interior design to modernize the space and provide clients with a sophisticated experience to match the dealer’s luxury services.
