A photo taken by Bob Rowland, Senior Superintendent overseeing the expansive Commonwealth mixed-use project in Charlotte, NC, has been selected in Engineering News-Record's 2023 Year in Construction Photo Contest! As one of just 50 entries chosen out of nearly 1,200, Bob's eye-catching photo of column rebar was also featured as the cover image for this year's publication. These pictures skillfully capture the action of construction jobsites and the human spirit that goes into creating the built environment.

While conducting a regular quality inspection onsite, Bob snapped the photo on his phone, considering it an intriguing perspective that showcases the team's efforts on the Plaza Midwood project.
