Choate Construction Company was founded in 1989 in a basement, as the nation’s economy was heading into recession. Construction projects were hard to come by, our employee roster was small, and our “fleet” was just one old truck.

We worked long hours and took on jobs other companies wouldn’t, building across a wide range of industries. Our team members were determined and dedicated. We delivered on our promises. And little by little, we laid a strong foundation.

That foundation has given us the opportunity to build something more than just a construction company. Along the way, we’ve built careers, communities, lasting relationships, and an ever-growing team of employee-owners. 

It’s a beginning that still shapes how we build today: with purpose, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility to the people who trust us.
