Ashley HomeStore Earns Tilt-Up Achievement Award

Ashley HomeStore Four Oaks earns Tilt-Up Achievement Award from the Tilt-Up Concrete Association. Winners of this award represent some of the best in tilt-up concrete construction. The awards program was designed to honor projects that use site-cast tilt-up concrete to introduce new building types, advance industry technology and provide unique solutions to building programs.

This is the second award-winning Ashley HomeStore for repeat clients, The Keith Corporation and Broad River Retail d/b/a Ashley HomeStore. Designed by Merriman Schmitt Architects, the 161,395-SF building is constructed of tilt wall concrete and structural steel with a 19,830-SF mezzanine. The building sits on a 30-acre site with a 190' truck dock with truck parking and an employee parking lot with covered drive thru pick up. The 50,000-SF warehouse has 10" reinforced super flat F-min 65 floor; the 17,000-SF repair area is also 10” reinforced for future racking while the remaining warehouse has a 7" fiber reinforced floor. With a 38' interior clear height, 36 OH doors with dock levelers provide maximum efficiency for expanded operations.
