Regional Distribution Center, Ashley HomeStore + Outlet, Call Center, and Regional Corporate Offices
Four Oaks, NC | 181,000 SF
Ashley Homestore, a 161,395-SF warehouse and distribution facility, is constructed of tilt wall concrete and structural steel with a 19,830-SF mezzanine. The building sits on a 30-acre site with a 190′ deep truck court, ruck parking, and an employee parking lot including a covered drive-thru pick-up area.
Additionally, Ashley Homestore has a 4,423-SF first-floor office with a second story mezzanine that include offices, call center, and an area for future expansion. The first floor is host to the three retail components of Ashley Furniture that make up their Home Store, Mattress Store, and Outlet Store with combined square footage of 36,000 SF.

The exterior elevations to the primary entrance of the building have a formliner to create a textured look. Other exterior architectural features include storefront punched openings, ACM panels at drive-thru, decorative canopy at entrance, and exterior tilt wall fin panels.
Distribution Center, Call Center and Regional Corporate Campus

This facility allows Ashley HomeStore to efficiently retrieve and deliver their products to retail locations in the surrounding areas. In an effort to keep pace with the high demand, Ashley HomeStore requires a facility constructed as soundly as the furniture moving through its dock doors.
Floor flatness was critical, as slab flatness can affect the performance of equipment, create safer environments for forklifts to place and retrieve product, and ultimately make an impact on Ashley HomeStore’s ability to retrieve and deliver their product faster. The specialized installation of an “Ultraflat” concrete floor slab, which runs the full extent of the building, resulted in a slab that is 237% flatter and more level than the average warehouse floor.
Attractive, polished concrete complements Ashley HomeStore’s office and processing areas. Situated on a 11,000-SF mezzanine, the office and processing area includes both private and open space and is furnished with Ashley HomeStore products.
