Ashley Homestore Four Oaks

Regional Distribution Center, Ashley HomeStore + Outlet, Call Center, and Regional Corporate Offices (Four Oaks, NC | 181,000 SF)

Ashley's Four Oaks location is a 161,395-SF tilt-wall and structural steel facility with a 19,830-SF mezzanine. Located on a 30-acre site, the building includes a 190' deep truck court, ruck parking, and an employee parking lot with a covered drive-thru pick-up area. It also includes 4,423 SF of first-floor office space and a second-story mezzanine with offices, a call center, and space for future expansion.

The warehouse features a 50,000-SF racking area with a 10-inch reinforced super flat floor, a 17,000-SF repair area, and a 7" fiber-reinforced floor for the remaining space. The first floor is host to the three retail components of Ashley Furniture that make up their Home Store, Mattress Store, and Outlet Store with combined square footage of 36,000 SF.

Ashley HomeStore Fort Mill

Distribution Center, Call Center and Regional Corporate Campus (Fort Mill, SC | 164,000 SF)

In an effort to keep pace with the high retail demand, Ashley HomeStore requires a facility constructed as soundly as the furniture moving through its dock doors.

Floor flatness was critical for the Fort Mill location, as slab flatness can affect the performance of equipment, create safer environments for forklifts to place and retrieve product, and ultimately make an impact on Ashley HomeStore’s ability to retrieve and deliver their product faster. The specialized installation of an “Ultraflat” concrete floor slab, which runs the full extent of the building, resulted in a slab that is 237% flatter and more level than the average warehouse floor.

Attractive, polished concrete complements Ashley HomeStore’s office and processing areas. Situated on a 11,000-SF mezzanine, the office and processing area includes both private and open space and is furnished with Ashley HomeStore products.
