Maximizing Outcomes and Prioritizing Safety Through Detailed Logistics Planning
Working within an occupied space presents inherent challenges; therefore, the project team focused efforts on minimizing disruptions while maximizing construction productivity and safety. With a fast-tracked schedule and a tight (514-SF) space, the project team crafted an intricate schedule to allow for no more than two trade partners working on the walk-up pool bar expansion at one time.
With many of the hotel’s high-profile guests visiting to enjoy the resort, the project team worked closely with key stakeholders to plan when construction would halt to ensure the safety and pleasure of these guests’ experiences. Despite the need for paced trade partner scheduling and brief pauses in the construction process, the partnership and proactivity involved with this project ensured on-time delivery, resulting in a very strong and satisfied client relationship.
Constructing a Signature Luxury Spa Experience
The exterior elements of this renovation project include a rain garden, hot tub, and a 3,400-SF pool deck expansion consisting of sustainable materials. A sun-soaked bar with floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to create a seamless flow to the pool deck.
Tranquility awaits in the luxurious men and women’s lounges, each renovated to include a soothing color palette and various treatment rooms for the ultimate relaxation experience. In the women’s lounge, an entrancing Himalayan salt wall is backlit, inviting guests to unwind in the intimate lounge area. The Cool Down Lounge includes a shower, steam room, whirlpool, sauna, and a deluge shower.
In the Wet Treatment rooms, the team constructed free-standing aroma cloud cryotherapy tubs, a wet pedestal table, and stainless steel cabinets to house the oils and therapies for guests. Tiled heated loungers are located in each locker room, with an ergonomic shape to provide a full-body soothing heat. Rounding out the guest experience is the Meditation Garden, constructed on the second floor of the spa.
