In a matter of 12 short weeks, a former salon space is transformed into one of the Lowcountry’s premier urgent care veterinary clinics. PawMed’s mission is to ensure each and every animal receives the highest level of care and affordable treatment.
The upfit of PawMed features updated finishes throughout the entire space, including light fixtures, remodeled restroom, and upgrades to the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Also included are two exam rooms.
Ensuring Success
After working for several years in emergency medicine, PawMed’s owner, Dr. William Marscher, made the pivotal decision to open his own urgent care vet clinic. To ensure success, selecting a trustworthy contractor to serve as a steward of his personal investment was critical to the new entrepreneur. Through his partnership with the Choate project team, Dr. Marscher received detailed updates throughout the entire project, in addition to thorough guidance when it came to finding and hiring the right vendors for his passion ‘pet’ project.
