Nestled in the “Lake City” of Acworth, GA, the three-story Assisted Living building totals 85,000 SF and is comprised of 92 units, 46 of which are memory care units for residents with Alzheimer’s disease.

Offering programming and services for seniors at all levels of activeness, Dogwood Forest’s amenities provide for a high standard of living. Residents can enjoy a cup of tea in the bistro, stroll through the lush landscape, participate in an exercise program in the fitness center, or stop in for a haircut in the barbershop/salon. Residents have the building and gardens at their disposal to enjoy dining, activities and interacting with family and friends. Cozy nooks, a corner in the garden, or their own residential suites provide solitude and privacy. Other features include a resident theater, dining room with full commercial kitchen, common area living room, sitting areas, and covered, screened porches located throughout the community.

Layout and architectural features are designed to ensure safety and mobility. Interior design plays an important role in creating a calming and sophisticated setting, and color schemes help define locations and create situational awareness.
