This state-of-the-art freezer-cooler facility utilizes the most advanced technology to ensure the contained product, Mrs. Smith’s® pies, stays frozen until distribution. The Design-Build, fast-track project features structural steel, tilt-up panels, high-bay racks, 49 roll-up doors, refrigerated docks, blast freezing, and inventory management. The facility's mechanical room uses color-coded piping for easy maintenance. High-speed doors operate to minimize temperature loss, and the complex slab system prevents ground heaving. All designs ensure optimal temperature control, with heated wire slabs and specialized insulation supporting the structure.
