University of North Georgia Parking Deck

Supported by deep foundations, the deck utilizes a shotcrete retaining wall to bolster the adjacent soil while allowing the deck to remain open — eliminating the need for sprinklers or mechanical ventilation. The three-level parking deck includes a service/storage yard at the lowest level. A stormwater detention vault is constructed below the lowest level ramp. The exterior of the deck utilizes brick and architectural detailing, blending with the adjacent dorm and convocation center buildings.
