This stunning headquarters offers much-needed space for the ever-expanding Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), providing the room to consolidate multiple branches into a single facility. FAA pushed the normal limits of tilt-wall with its four-story height and maximized openings; the tilt and steel erection had to be staged and coordinated perfectly with each other. In addition to extensive security and back-up systems, high-end finishes such as thick-set honed and polished Walker Zanger tile, Natural Birch Pecan wood paneling, and a custom FAA glass feature wall make this building an impressive home for the FAA.
