Augusta University Student Housing
Augusta University receives two separate Georgia Peach Certified, five-story, student housing buildings with its latest campus expansion project. The undergraduate building, comprised of 412 beds in 145 suite and semi-suite style units, totals 97,665 SF, while the graduate building contains 312 beds in 305 apartment-style units.

Designed to Support Student Success
Built with the complete student experience in mind, Augusta University’s student housing community provides modern living environments that encourage connection, collaboration, and academic achievement. The undergraduate residence hall is anchored by a large, multi-functional “connect” space, while both buildings feature shared kitchens, study areas, lounges, and laundry facilities that support daily campus life.
Transforming Campus Infrastructure
The project included the abatement and demolition of five existing dormitories on the eight-acre site, making way for a thoughtfully planned residential community. Site improvements include a 301-space parking lot and three underground stormwater detention systems that support long-term campus infrastructure needs. Both residence halls utilize Type III wood-frame construction on conventional shallow foundations, with brick masonry, cement panel accents, and stucco details creating a timeless architectural character that complements the university campus.
