Industrious, Choate Celebrate New Flex Workspace in Charleston’s Historic District

February 24, 2023

Choate Construction Company partners with Atlantic South Development, Inc and McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture to bring Industrious’ new co-working corporate space to Charleston’s vibrant King Street. The team celebrates the completion of this project with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 677 King St. on Wednesday, February 22.

“Contributing to the growth of a unique brand of coworking space has been a pleasure alongside the Industrious team,” says Quinn Gaines, Director of Business Development of Choate Construction in Charleston. “Thanks to the strong partnerships and close collaboration, we were able to conquer material challenges and a tight schedule to achieve this successful delivery.”

Located on the second and third floors the 60,000-SF of flexible, Class A space provides 120 offices, 10+ collaboration spaces, several executive suites with private adjoining offices, and a wellness center. The idea behind Industrious’ flexible working space is to provide the community with a modern environment that suits a variety of needs, from full-time to hybrid to on-demand business.

Charged with capturing the energy and history of the surrounding 300-year-old neighborhood, the project team delivered this dynamically and thoughtfully designed office space in just 90 days despite supply chain delays in aluminum framing and glass materials.
