Choate Tops Out on Junction at Krog District

The Junction Krog District team celebrates a pivotal construction milestone, topping out PORTMAN's newest office and retail hub in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. The team has put in 80,000 man-hours to date on this mixed-use/corporate construction project and, after 10 months, assembled nearly 10,000 yards of concrete, 820 tons of rebar, and 4 miles of post-tension cable.

The 130,000-SF mixed-use construction project will offer three stories of Class A office space and 7,000 SF of ground-floor retail in a "public porch" setting, featuring vibrant public art installations and murals throughout. The public living room, just a few steps from the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail, will provide neighbors a warm and inviting space to enjoy the building's new retail and restaurant options.

This significant milestone would not have been possible without Choate's partners and teams! This project is set to deliver in the summer of 2023.
