ULI Atlanta recently celebrated its 25th annual Awards for Excellence by recognizing outstanding development projects and people within the Atlanta District Council. Designed to recognize outstanding real estate development projects, the ULI Atlanta Awards for Excellence program honors those that exemplify ULI’s mission of providing leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities.

Interface, Inc. Headquarters took home the award for Excellence in Adaptive Reuse at the ceremony! Interface, Inc. combines their Interface Corporate Office, Interface Americas, and Atlanta showroom, into one, three-story adaptive reuse project in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, GA. Interface operations that were previously located in separate locations in Georgia, now exist under one roof. This one-of-a-kind, contemporary workplace, formerly a 1960s decrepit office building, is an urban oasis for employee well-being. As a sustainability-minded firm, Interface reflects their personal values within their new headquarters and pursues LEED V4 Platinum and WELL Gold Certification (slated to be one of the first in the state of Georgia).
