Choate Construction Breaks Ground on Stokes Honda North Dealership Expansion & Renovations

Choate Construction Company broke ground on the Stokes Honda North campus on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston, SC. The dealership upgrades to “Gen 3” standards with a two-phased renovation.

Designed by Rosenblum Coe, Phase 1 begins with a 148,600-SF expansion featuring a four-story precast concrete parking deck with a service reception area, vehicle service stations, additional showroom, and customer lounge, all to be located all on the ground level of the deck.  The parking deck is constructed above the dealership, requiring careful coordination and critical safety plans.

Phase II will involve the renovation of the existing 33,000-SF building. Upgrades to the current showroom, sales offices, service area will be made, along with a new building façade.

Owned and operated for 25 years at this location, the expansion and renovation will provide much needed room to accommodate the daily operations and rapid growth of the Stokes team.
