Connected Student Spaces
The center includes a 60,000-SF student center, expanded 500-seat dining hall, 350-seat banquet facility, and 40,000-SF Zell and Shirley Miller Library. Additional spaces support student media, SGA, religious life, Greek organizations, clubs, lounges, meeting areas, computer workstations, and a convenience store.
Sustainable Design, Delivered On Time
LEED Gold features include geothermal wells, daylighting strategies, reduced water usage, recycled and regional materials, and construction waste recycling. Despite losing 192 days to severe winter weather, the project team completed the center on time without using the full allowable schedule extension.
