The Matadora

The Matadora, a four-story, mixed-use complex in the rising Starland District of Downtown Savannah, offers 83 luxury units and modern amenities. Choate was engaged early in the preconstruction phase to encourage a highly collaborative design-assist approach to the project team -- a formula that worked well for The Bowery and The Bowery II, which were both completed under budget. As the project team worked through design, estimating, and scheduling, Choate identified opportunities to improve constructability and bring the best value to the client, resulting in an on-time completion and under-budget project.
