Cagle’s Food Processing Plant dedicates 424,787 SF of an existing 800,000SF for poultry processing. Cagle’s is capable of primary and secondary processing of 1.3 - 1.4 million chickens per week.
The facility includes large freezers with forced air and heated concrete floors to prevent sub-grade heaving and coolers. The processing areas feature sloping concrete floors to trenches and concrete bumper walls. Construction includes structural steel work for new roof top units, structural steel mezzanine for box store, jet grouting of existing footings millwork and cabinetry, new roofing, and waterproofing of trenches. The project also encompasses the renovation of an existing on-site wastewater facility.
