Cagle’s Farm

Cagle’s Food Processing Plant dedicates 424,787 SF of an existing 800,000 SF facility to poultry processing. Cagle’s is capable of primary and secondary processing of 1.3-1.4 million chickens per week.

The facility includes large freezers with forced air, heated concrete floors to prevent subgrade heaving, and coolers. The processing areas feature sloping concrete floors leading to trenches and concrete bumper walls. Construction includes structural steelwork for new rooftop units, a structural steel mezzanine for the box store, jet grouting of existing footings, millwork and cabinetry, new roofing, and waterproofing of trenches. The project also encompasses the renovation of an existing on-site wastewater facility.
