Since entering the American market in 1996, BRITAX has become one of the most trusted names in child car seats and continues to expand its business with the Fort Mill, South Carolina facility. The 484,000-SF Design-Build project includes 120,000 SF of corporate office, R&D space, and a full-scale test sled area.

The building’s exterior utilizes a series of overlapping tilt-wall panels and curtainwall to create a varied façade along the 1,000-foot length, which accommodates BRITAX’s racking and shipping needs. Bays are spaced at 50 feet x 52 feet, along with a 60-foot staging area at the loading dock.

The 50-acre sitework scope mitigated two existing farm ponds, extends sewer and water services to the site, and widens and overlays 2,000 LF of Pleasant Road.
