Choate partnered with repeat-client Hudson Automotive Group to transform a long-abandoned former dealership into Beaman Buick GMC’s new Antioch location, supporting the dealership’s move from downtown Nashville to a growing market on the city’s outskirts. The building was gutted to its concrete and steel framework, then rebuilt with new systems, finishes, and a 7,500-SF addition that expanded sales and service capacity.

Repositioning an Existing Asset
After exploring ground-up construction and despite having little-to-no as-built drawings, Hudson pursued a cost-conscious renovation strategy that repurposed the existing structure while delivering a fully modernized facility. By reusing and expanding the site, the team accelerated delivery, maximized value, and extended the life of a well-located asset in a competitive market.
Expanded for Performance
A 7,500-SF addition enhances service functions, improving overall operational efficiency with new service bays and two new detail wash bays. The expanded layout streamlines workflow, increases capacity, and creates a more intuitive experience for customers and staff. New construction integrates seamlessly with the renovated facility, delivering a cohesive result.

A Refined Customer Experience
Interior and exterior upgrades, including new flooring, finishes, and refreshed materials, elevate the overall environment. Showroom, waiting room, and service areas were reworked to feel cleaner, more open, and aligned with modern expectations, reinforcing the Beaman brand at every touchpoint.
