Atlantic Packaging

The old manufacturing area was gutted to allow for the construction of the Packaging Solutions Center, which showcases Atlantic Packaging’s products, equipment, and packaging engineering capabilities to potential and existing clients.

The test center, which hosts unit-load testing equipment from Lansmont and TEAM, simulates real-world transit conditions. Lansmont and TEAM are renowned leaders in vibration and impact testing for NASA and the U.S. Military.

The Packaging Solutions Center incorporated concrete polished floors, a butt-glazed storefront system, plus an underground ductal power supply and compressed air system to feed each piece of robotic equipment on display. The renovated lobby boasts wood slat cloud system ceilings and a built-in 1,000-gallon saltwater aquarium. Interior steel mezzanines were installed to provide two additional floors of office space.

Atlantic Packaging expands its distribution capacity in South Carolina’s Upstate with a Design-Build facility in Greenville. The 151,000-SF facility creates ample space for Atlantic Packaging’s growing operations with 32-foot clear height. Constructed of precast wall panels, the facility also includes 20 dock doors. A 50,000-SF portion of the facility is available for sublease for a partner tenant. Well-appointed office space was included for both Atlantic Packaging and the sublease tenant.
