Popular Tex-Mex spot Superica by restauranteur extraordinaire Ford Fry opens its fifth location the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville.  The upscale-casual eatery features an eclectic blend of detailed millwork, decorative concrete block, and tile finishes. Vintage artwork adorns the walls and a hand-forged metal chandelier made of bicycle seats hangs in the main dining area. Texas vibes are abound with leather-strapped bar and vintage wood, distressed wood cabinets, and of course a healthy dose of longhorn mounts. A 1960s-inspired carport roof covers a portion of the outdoor patio, also featuring breeze block and intricate pavers. Towering above the restaurant is next-door neighbor Icon in the Gulch, also constructed by Choate.
