The first completed guest portion of the Montage resort addition is the demolition of a fitness center and construction of the May River Guest House, a two-story, 14 key waterfront property overlooking the sparkling May River.
Comprised of two King suites, nine King rooms and three double Queen rooms, each unit features custom local art, antique reclaimed heart pine flooring, marble countertops, custom decorative hardware, handmade cast iron tubs, and a private porch with tongue and groove decking and ceiling. King suite living room areas boast paneled walls, vaulted ceilings, dry bar, as well as a gas burning fire place with granite hearth and surrounds, topped with a custom wood mantle. Living quarters are separated by walls with a STC 62 sound rating.

Montage amenities are endless and give guests the option to relax in one of four outdoor or indoor spas or sit and enjoy a bite at the outdoor pool bar and grill facility. Additions include a fitness lap pool, family pool, kiddie pool and Spa.
Rich in Southern hospitality, resort public areas include a perfectly elegant front porch, expansive reception landing, ballroom, pre-function outdoor terrace, meeting rooms, exclusive retail shops, residential sales office, and an inspired children’s center. Guests can experience South Carolina flavors is at its finest with various food and beverage venues, including a lively lounge and bar, veranda-style dining, and exterior dining at the pool area bar and restaurant.
A 2,000-SF fitness center which features athletic hardwood flooring and Sapele mahogany doors, and a separate restroom facility are located next door.
