Choate Construction teamed up with The Keith Corporation to construction Metso's newest manufacturing facility. Metso Power manufacturers boilers, evaporators and chemical recovery systems for paper mills, power plants and ethanol plants. The facility includes two manufacturing bays, one bay is 90' x 600' and the second is 60' x 350'. The office bay measures 60' x 189'. The two manufacturing bays have a clear height of 16 feet. The manufacturing facility is heated with radiant heaters and ventilated using roof mounted exhaust fans supplying four air changes per hour through wall mounted exhaust in the high bay area. The building is supported by an independent steel frame with non-load bearing tilt up concrete wall panels. The site includes parking for 100 employees and a truck court.
