Madame Butterfly is the latest dining concept by repeat client, Ele and the Chef, a nationally recognized and award-winning restaurant group that combines Asian-American cuisine with Lowcountry flavors.
Located in the heart of Savannah’s Historic District, this project transforms an existing three-story building and its basement into an eclectic Korean steakhouse. The ground floor is a Japanese Hot Pot dining area with full-menu table service; the third floor is a Korean-style barbeque with hibachi-style grills at individual tables; and the basement offers private dining and a karaoke room with updated restrooms. The second-floor kitchen is also renovated to support the new menu.
Other renovations include updates to finishes throughout the entire building and upgrades to the HVAC and electrical systems. Madame Butterfly is the sixth restaurant renovation Choate has completed for Ele and the Chef in three years.
