The next addition to Rocket Farm Restaurants' impressive portfolio, which includes award-winners such as JCT, No. 246, and The Optimist, King & Duke continues to carry the torch of sophisticated design and culinary excellence.
King & Duke occupies a prominent building in bustling Buckhead and offers patrons Colonial American, serving early American cooking techniques centered around a massive 24-foot hearth. Features include a full bar, open show kitchen and six dining areas, with one of them private with antique glass ceilings and upholstered walls.
Painted tectum panels and fabric wrapped panels are used as acoustical treatments on the ceilings. The existing storefront is replaced with a custom steel and glass door and window system and a 1200-SF Ipe deck provides abundant outdoor seating. An existing outdoor bar is clad in glazed brick and receives new stone bar tops. A wine room complete with an independent HVAC system, located on a raised level behind the bar, looks out over the bar and dining areas.
