The renovation of retail space into a distinctive shopping environment with extensive ceramic and porcelain tile, interior brick veneer, and more than five miles of wood plank integrated throughout the walls and ceilings. The design also incorporates a mezzanine level for electrical switchgear, upgraded HVAC and electrical systems, custom wood and zinc display elements, and BIM technology to improve coordination, reduce conflicts, and provide enhanced visualization during planning and construction.

Located within the Avalon mixed-use development, this Crate & Barrel store expresses the brand’s signature aesthetic through a distinctive exterior featuring a 54-foot decorative louver, expansive curtainwall glazing, stained cedar siding, thin brick panels, and a custom wood storefront with Pella windows. The interior complements the exterior with stained cedar and painted pine ceilings, thin brick and cedar wall finishes, hardwood flooring over a sleeper system, and a modular lighting system manufactured in Atlanta, while the rotunda curve of the residential structure above enhances transparency and creates a welcoming customer experience.
Crate & Barrel Nashville encompasses 27,000 SF of interior renovations within two floors of Green Hills Mall. As the anchor store within the mall, the project includes a monumental staircase, interior elevator, and Crate & Barrel products with brand finishing wooden floors and walls.

The management of the site and schedule paid big dividends during the turnover to Crate and Barrel and the commissioning team. A smooth transition can make or break a successful project and Scott’s turnover to Crate and Barrel was one of the best we’ve seen.
