Alfred Williams Company, a leading commercial furniture company in the Carolinas is updating and expanding their Charlotte showroom and offices.
The original 1800s post and beam constructed building is modified structurally to open up the showroom and office, allowing multiple options for showcasing their furniture manufacturers products. This includes removing 13 central columns and using wide spanning timber beams, columns and reconstructing masonry piers and concrete foundations to accommodate the new structure.
The expanded space captures an existing open air entry portal to expand the showroom. Also included are private offices, training room, break room, library, relocated IT room, large conference room and restrooms.
