Red Ventures Selects Choate to Build Latest Expansion Project

May 1, 2013

Choate breaks ground on the latest corporate expansion project for Red Ventures in Indian Land, South Carolina. The high-growth marketing and technology company is adding a five-level office building and parking deck to support massive growth at its Charlotte area headquarters.

“Red Ventures continues to grow at a rate of around 40 percent a year and we need the space to expand our team in a very short window of time,” says Red Ventures Project Manager, Bernie Rosario. “Choate has always delivered our projects in budget and, more importantly, on time.  We know Choate is the team member to make this happen once again.”

Choate and Overchash & Demmit Architects are teaming up once again to build the second office building for this visionary company. Amid the open office areas and turbo-charged conference rooms, the building will feature elevated terraces and asymmetrical atrium spaces on each level. Six-inch raised flooring will allow for the extensive cabling needed to support the operation. Flat-screen tvs and wall-mounted iPads will keep occupants connected and up-to-date throughout the space. The facility will also include a beer garden, six-lane bowling alley, auditorium and full food court.

The new building links to the existing office building through a 5,000-SF connector. This addition marks the third office building at its headquarters location, of which Choate has built all three. The project brings the first parking deck to the corporate park, a four-level precast structure with 1,200 spaces. The 16-acre site also receives a new soccer field, two tennis courts and two beach volleyball courts to create the ultimate work hard, play hard environment.
