The construction of Milton Martin Toyota Way continues, as the company plans a September groundbreaking ceremony.

Emily Hayes, Milton Martin Toyota spokeswoman, said the company plans to have a small gathering on Sept. 5 with members of the Chamber of Commerce, founder Milton Martin and other key persons.

“We constructed the current building that we were in in 1970, so this building will be the first major reconstruction or rebuild that we’ve had for Milton Martin Toyota,” Hayes said.

Oakwood City Councilman Sam Evans said the city welcomes all new business, and officials are excited at the news.
