Matt Hartig Promoted to Director of Operations, Raleigh

Choate Construction Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Hartig to Director of Operations in its Raleigh office. Formerly a Project Executive, Matt is known for his tenacity, client-forward approach, and creating processes that provide efficiencies and operational excellence on behalf of Choate’s clients and their builds. He is a results-driven leader skilled in creating efficiencies and providing leadership and mentorship for those working with him.

Matt earned his Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis on Building Construction from Virginia Tech. Matt has worked in all project phases, from preconstruction to closeout, an experience that has given him in-depth knowledge in pursuing the best value for clients. Additionally, his time in operations highlighted Matt’s prowess in leading teams and solidified his reputation as a trusted advocate for client goals.

As a Choate employee-owner for nearly 20 years, Matt successfully completed a variety of unique and complex projects, including Clemson University’s Dominion Energy Innovation Center, Red Ventures Corporate Campus, and Kentucky Motor Speedway. Matt’s vast project experience will sharpen Choate Raleigh’s execution in the broad range of market sectors in which we build, including senior living, distribution and manufacturing, automotive, and corporate offices. Choate Raleigh looks forward to Matt’s tenure.

An avid outdoorsman, Matt enjoys surfing, skiing, golfing, and exercising with his F3 group. His greatest strength and accomplishment is being a husband and father.
