Choate Awarded Three Eagle Awards and Two Merit Awards For Excellence in Construction
Choate Construction Company received top honors November 15 at the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABCC) Excellence in Construction Awards banquet at the Founders Hall in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Choate was the recipient of three prestigious Eagle Awards in multiple categories including industrial, school and renovation/restoration construction ranging between $2 million to $50+ million. Entries were scored based on a variety of qualifications including the level of quality and difficulty of the project, as well as safety and owner references. The Eagle awards presented included the projects SIMT Manufacturing Incubator Center, North Carolina State University J.W. Isenhour Tennis Complex, and The Residences at Hotel John Marshall. The Merit Awards were given to the Measurement Building at Morris Ridge in the $5 to $10 million commercial category and University of North Carolina Hospitals Neurosciences Admitting Unit Relocation in the under $2 million healthcare category.

In addition, Choate was recognized earlier this year as the top General Contractor by the Charleston Chapter of American Subcontractor Association Carolinas.
