Choate’s Clays for a Cause a Major Success

October 30, 2013

Choate Construction Company along with Signature Sponsors Boyette Electric, Gaylor/Hagemeyer, Sunbelt Rentals, Brent Scarborough Company, Cleland Site Prep and Land Rover of Hilton Head welcomed 139 event participants and more than 20 event volunteers to the second annual Clays for A Cause held at Forest City Gun Club. Donations and event sponsorships helped raise over $50,000 to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A low country boil by The Shellhouse restaurant, music by Windsong Productions and the awards ceremony completed the charity event.

Molly Taggert, Associate Director of the Georgia Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation said, “We are so grateful for our longstanding partnership with Choate Construction. They have truly made tomorrows possible for all of our CF patients.”

April Callon of Choate Construction Company and Event Chairperson said, “This year surpassed every dream I had for our clay shoot. The success of this event would not be possible without the continued support of our sponsors, volunteers and employees. I am excited to see what the 2014 event will bring!”
