Choate Construction’s Raleigh office has achieved Building Star recertification through the North Carolina Department of Labor (DOL) Carolina Star Program! As one of the highest safety achievements the state has to offer, this recognition is a testament to our trade partners’ and employee-owners’ dedication to living Choate’s OneLife safety culture day after day.

As one of only 23 Building Star companies in North Carolina, we are honored to be a part of the safety-focused team with White Point Partners and Research Triangle Foundation at The Horseshoe at Hub RTP, a designated Building Star site.

Choate’s Charlotte office has also earned and maintained its Building Star certification for the past several years.

The Building Star Program recognizes leaders in the construction industry that are successfully implementing comprehensive and effective safety and health programs to preserve the safety of employees. Participation in this program is in direct alignment with one of Choate’s goals with its OneLife safety initiative: to promote and assist construction companies across the nation to better prioritize safety through best practices, innovative solutions, and advanced technology. When the construction industry as a whole works together to share ideas and encourage one another to work safer, we are better enabled to create workplaces free of accidents and illnesses, sending our people home safely at the end of each day.
