Choate Presented with Two First Place AGC “Build GA” Awards

Choate Construction Company has been recognized by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Georgia for their construction excellence, taking home first place honors on both the Comcast Division Headquarters – One Ballpark Center and the Shepherd Center Pharmacy, Laboratory, and MRI Expansion project. AGC’s award program celebrates firms and projects that represent the best in the construction industry.

Towering nine stories above the new Braves Stadium at Suntrust Park, the Comcast Division Headquarters is a 245,000-SF upfit complete with an impressive lobby, indoor/outdoor dining areas, an open office floor plan, and state-of-the-art conference center.

The Shepherd Center Pharmacy, Laboratory, and MRI Expansion project showcases a 13,000-SF, 2-story addition built over a loading dock, connecting two existing buildings on the hospital campus. Furthering Shepherd Center’s offerings, two MRI rooms, laboratory facilities, and pharmacy areas are constructed.
