Choate Breaks Ground on Assisted Living Facility in Riverview, Florida

March 19, 2014

Choate Construction and Starling Senior Living LLC recently broke ground on The Crossings at Riverview, a waterfront 92-unit assisted living and memory care facility, located off of US Highway 301 in Riverview, FL.

The new $14.5MM, 76,000-SF state-of-the-art facility designed by PQH Group will contain 62 assisted living beds and 40 memory care beds, and will feature upscale resort-style amenities such as a full-service spa, fitness room, theater, activity and game rooms, central kitchen and dining and an indoor/outdoor light fare café. The building was designed to maximize resident views of the Alafia River and will contain multiple courtyards and expansive porches to showcase this unique amenity.

Saber Healthcare Group, an Ohio based firm that currently manages 73 senior living and skilled nursing communities, will manage the property upon completion.

“Choate is excited to work with Starling Senior Living and PQH Group and looks forward to delivering a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility,” says Millard Choate, President of Choate Construction.

Sitework began in January 2014 with building construction beginning in February. The project is expected to be complete in December 2014.
