Alpharetta City Center Breaks Ground

May 2, 2013

Alpharetta City Center officially broke ground last week, kicking off a development that will dramatically transform Alpharetta’s historic downtown with a vibrant blend of commercial, residential, and community uses.  Demolition of the existing structures on the 25-acre site commenced last week.

The pedestrian- and family-friendly environment contains a City Hall building, municipal parking deck, five-acre park/green space, Town Green, “pocket parks,” and five development sites for future retail spaces.  The City Center, with its interconnecting streets, the promise of retail and restaurants, and the potential for special events create a locale unique to Alpharetta.

Development of the project is being professionally managed by Jones, Lang, LaSalle. Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart and Stewart is serving as the master architects for the project with primary architectural design services being led by David M. Schwarz Architects of Washington, DC.

Located in Alpharetta, GA.
