Construction is a Team Effort
Great construction is built upon collaboration – thousands of aligned decisions, made by people who trust each other.
We’re proud to work alongside some of the best designers, engineers, and trade partners in the business, and we don’t take that lightly. We’re only as strong as the company we keep. Many of Choate’s trade relationships stretch back decades, built on shared values, mutual accountability, and a genuine investment in each other’s success. When challenges come up – and they always do – we solve them faster, communicate openly, and stay focused on the outcome together.
Interested in joining the team as an employee-owner or trade partner?
From the outset, your team approached this project with a level of care, heart, and passion that went far beyond what is typically expected in a construction partnership."

OneLife to Live
There is no greater measure of project success than sending everyone home safely to their families.
Every day, thousands of employee-owners and trade partners arrive at Choate jobsites across the nation, and every day, their loved ones depend on them to return home safe and sound. This monumental, humbling task is why we’ve devoted ourselves to transforming the culture of safety from the ground up.
Since its creation in 2015, OneLife, Choate’s award-winning safety identity and program, has become a rallying cry to move beyond compliance and toward commitment. Safety that doesn’t just protect the body, but touches the heart.

Work that Stands the Test of Time
Beginning in preconstruction, Choate’s rigorous quality management and controls are built into every phase of the project. Quality is a team effort, requiring aligned expectations and execution to deliver of something everyone can be proud of for years to come.
Each project receives:
A Project-Specific Quality Plan
Tailored to each project, the Plan ensures no detail is overlooked and the whole team is working from the same playbook.
The Right Resources
Our Integrated Services Group offers value-add expertise that strengthens quality at every phase.
Rework Elimination Strategies
Continuous inspections, pre-installation meetings, trade coordination, mock-ups, and Millard Choate’s infamous (ok, at least to us!) 10-Foot Rule are all designed to eliminate rework.
Post-Project Support
We aren’t done when the ribbon is cut. Our one-year warranty walk is proactively scheduled so nothing gets left behind.
And none of this replaces employee-owner drive. Our field teams are on the ground, monitoring work firsthand – empowered and personally accountable to deliver a project that reflects their own reputation.

Keeping Our Commitments
A schedule is more than a timeline – it's a commitment, and each schedule is uniquely developed to honor that commitment. Begun in preconstruction and built backward from your occupancy date, project schedules align critical milestones, trade partners, procurement, and field execution.
And while pull planning, 4D schedules, and real-time tracking are important scheduling tools, the true differentiator are our “boots on the ground.” Motivating the people closest to the work keeps momentum strong and enthusiasm high, no matter the conditions.
