Jones Ford, an automotive retail icon in the Lowcountry of South Carolina for nearly half a century, undergoes a major renovation to reflect Ford’s current brand standards. Construction in the fully operational facility includes the complete replacement of its showroom, upgrades to the existing service bays, the addition of a service write-up drive, and a completely redeveloped Parts Department.
With high exposure to heavily travelled River Avenue near Interstate 26, the new eye-catching, structural steel showroom engages a new generation of consumers with brilliant ACM metal paneling and glass facade.
Inside the facility, customers are treated to waiting and cafe areas covered with sleek Ford silver porcelain tile. Administrative areas on the second floor overlook the showroom area and provide day-to-day operational support.
Replacement of the showroom is only the beginning; a 34,000-SF Truck Repair and Paint and Body Shop takes the place of the automotive retailers former Collision Center, while Quick Lane and Detail Bay operations are moved to two separate tilt-wall buildings on the 12-acre site and total 8,800 SF combined.
The Truck Repair shop boasts 18 bays for large truck service while the Paint and Body Shop has the capability to service 26 vehicles when operating at full capacity. These 44 bays combine with 7 additional detail bays to provide customers with full-service support.
