Vivace is a fresh, notable addition to the dining scene in Charlotte, North Carolina. The contemporary Italian trattoria has tapped into the latest design trends in the restaurant world to create a successful and inventive hot spot for business meetings and social gatherings alike.

The open, two-story floor plan enjoys abundant lighting from extensive wall sconces and ornate chandeliers sheathed in orange Plexiglas, which give the dining areas a modern vibrancy. Light oak floors contrast with the urban grays, rich browns and velvety oranges of the seating areas. A large selection of wine is dramatically displayed by glass and stainless steel vaults that extend from floor to ceiling. Also in view from the main dining area is the open kitchen, flanked by pearl-color tiling and a tapestry of multi-colored wood planks that start above the kitchen and rise into the mezzanine.

Almost as complex as the wood-planked walls, is the 36-foot-long and 9-foot-high Nanawall that separates the exterior terrace from the Mezzanine bar. Leather panels, stainless steel cable railings, and solid ash and marble bar tops are just a few of the other high-end features of Vivace.

The Charlotte Observer designated Vivace of Charlotte as one of the Best Top 10 New Restaurants, giving it a four ½-star rating. The trendy dining spot has also had inclusions in USA Today, Wine Spectator, Hospitality Design and Southern Living.
