“I wanted to take this opportunity to express to you and the entire project team of the UPS Innoplex project my sincere thanks for a job well done. This project had an extremely challenging schedule and as you promised, your team delivered it on time and on budget.” – Joe Parrino, UPS Project Engineer
Beginning originally as the Herman Miller distribution facility, the building is transformed, featuring raised flooring, a dry fog and suspended fabric panel ceiling system; 120,000 SF of the facility is designed and arranged like a community.
Individual work spaces are interlaced with community spaces where groups would congregate for collaborative discussion.
In the center of the space is a community center containing large meeting areas, coffee and café area, and other centralized common amenities. The entire space emits an open feel and features large sails suspended from the ceiling and up-lighting throughout the space to simulate clouds and an outdoor environment. This space functions as a 24/7 work environment and includes exercise facilities, a game room, and dining facility.
