St. Cecilia is a unique restaurant space in the Pinnacle Building in the bustling Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta that caters to the financial organizations within the building and the many hotels nearby. Enhanced by natural light and creamy color palette, this transformation of the former Bluepointe Restaurant is another smashing concept from Ford Fry.
With cuisine and décor inspired by coastal Europe, St. Cecilia’s out-of-the-box eatery has an oversized classic European bar with clear sightlines into a wood burning hearth and a dramatic crudo bar mounted with fresh harvested shellfish and seafood. Clad in a stone top and leather wrapped blocks, the main bar completes the European lodge feel with a large bookcase containing taxidermy creatures. A large patio takes advantage of the newly accessible streetscape.
Structural modifications to the space include the removal of two raised concrete platforms and an extension of the balcony space, creating a larger environment for a private dining experience. The kitchen located on the main level undergoes minor renovations including wall tile and the addition of a solid fuel hood with a fire brick enclosure for the cooking equipment.
A 1500-gallon grease capture is added in the loading dock area of the building to meet current requirements of the City of Atlanta. Additionally, minor modifications to the lower level prep kitchen are included.
