A fantastic addition to Atlanta’s growing list of dining options, Seed Kitchen & Bar boasts a casual environment where friends, families and neighbors can gather for great food, wine, and cocktails. The menu and space reflects a depth of modern American flavors influenced by Chef Doug Turbush’s global travels, highlighting a passion for bold, flavorful foods and a commitment to sustainability.
Radiating clean lines and warm tones, this stylish space features an intimate bar, lounge, and outdoor patio. Highlights include a custom bar accentuated with butcher block counter tops and a painted MDF facade, hickory wood flooring laid in a herringbone pattern, and sheetrock ceilings. The lounge incorporates white oak millwork complemented by banquet seating featuring a “holy cow” fabric and tables with butcher block tops. Coffered ceilings with Tectum acoustical floating ceilings help control noise within the main dining area. Decorative wood and steel columns with reveals and a large steel wine rack running from floor to ceiling create unique and useful partitions between dining spaces. A Silestone solid surface pass-thru window is located between the bar and the patio and is used for convenient delivery of drinks to the outdoor seating.
The high-end commercial kitchen is comprised of gas ranges, ovens, two exhaust hoods, quarry tile floors, and subway tile walls. With sustainability in mind, restrooms are complete with low consumption appliances. The restrooms and dining area also feature porcelain tile walls.
In order to further enhance the atmosphere of Seed Kitchen & Bar, a sophisticated lighting control package is installed which allows the chef to preset and control the lights to coincide with the time of day.
