Choate’s third project for powerhouse tech company Red Ventures is just as impressive and innovative as the rapidly-expanding company living within its walls.
This phase of the Red Ventures Corporate Campus, designed by Overcash & Demmitt Architects, features a striking five-story, 200,000-SF office building complete with a beer garden, six-lane bowling alley, lounge, and cafeteria. A 5,000-SF connector attaches to the previously-constructed corporate office, allowing employees to easily transverse between the buildings.
A majority of the interior space is comprised of conference rooms, open office area, elevated terraces, and unique asymmetrical atrium space on each level. Six-inch raised flooring allows for the extensive cabling needed to support the office’s operations. The structure of the building is cast-in-place concrete with curtainwall, metal panel and EIFS exterior.
Also included on the 16-acre site is a four-level, 1,200-space precast parking deck; the first level is below grade and cast-in-place. A soccer field, two tennis courts, two beach volleyball courts, and various recreation areas also help create the ultimate “work hard, play hard” corporate campus.
This facility is LEED registered with a certification goal of certified.
