Moncler is a French-Italian clothing company founded in 1952 by René Ramillon that manufactures down jackets and sportswear. Today Moncler outerwear is sold at retailers in the Netherlands, Italy, France, Switzerland Austria, Germany, Russia, Belgium, Denmark, United Kingdom, Hungary, Turkey, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan and the U.S.
Basing their design as a ski town boutique store, Moncler is opening their newest store in the prestigious Buckhead Atlanta Complex. The 1,800-SF space in the Oliver McMillian development features wood paneled ceilings, custom Italian millwork, and Calacatta marble stone flooring in a herringbone pattern. All materials are imported from Italy and installed by Italian millworkers, which requires meticulous coordination with Moncler’s Italian millwork team.
The HVAC system conditions the space with a horizontal, reverse cycle water source heat pump with CWS&R piping tying the unit back to the base building mains with BTU meters to monitor usage. The space is powered by one 60-amp, two 100-amp, and one 225-amp panels.
