The Marriott at Perimeter Center project includes the revamp of an existing lounge and restaurant area. Highlights include the partial conversion of the existing lounge into a meeting room and the renovation and redesign of the remaining lounge area to adjoin an existing restaurant.
Wood veneered oval feature displays highlight the entrance to the bar and lounge area. Other features include bamboo hardwood floors, a 12-foot speckled copper tile wall, and fabric panels. The large bar area is enhanced with new wood veneer, glass shelving, granite counters, stainless steel footrests, and decorative boxed trim details. The lounge area is adorned with plasma screen televisions, projectors, and ceiling mounted speakers. Tray ceilings with decorative lighting add to the ambiance.
Additionally, an existing depressed slab is infilled using steel decking and concrete to provide stability for the new demising wall that divides the meeting room from the lounge.
