Environamics, Inc. relocates to an existing one-story warehouse with office space. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Charlotte, NC, the commercial interior contracting company fabricates and installs floor-to-ceiling movable wall systems.

Approximately 12,500 SF of existing office space within the warehouse building is demolished and upfitted to create a showcase exhibit of Environamics’ interior finish products including custom drywall details, glass partitions, and wood and fabric finishes.

The warehouse receives exterior upgrades including a 24,822-SF addition for high-bay storage constructed of structural steel, precast panels, and topped with a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof. Inside the warehouse, LED lighting is installed along with an early suppression fast response (ESFR) fire suppression system. The use of this high pressure, high volume system replaces the need for in-rack sprinklers, providing more flexibility for storage rack arrangement. Paving of additional parking spaces for employees and fleet vehicles completes the sitework improvements.

With sustainability fused into their company philosophy, Environamics places a high priority on the goal of achieving a LEED certified renovation. Sustainable elements incorporated into the project include energy efficient HVAC units, LED lighting, ecological wall and ceiling materials, as well as sustainable wood and fabric finishes.
