To meet the growing needs of the Authority, this expansion and renovation provides an additional 17,246 SF, enabling the employees of the Authority to better serve the utility needs of the Beaufort Jasper area.
The two story addition creates more office space, conference rooms, community space, and administrative areas; the renovation transforms the existing Cashiers, Customer Service, and IT departments. All new components are designed to match the existing structure, which consists of a radius standing seam roof and brick veneer.
Construction design and implementation features energy efficiency and environmental compatibility, resulting in the project’s LEED Silver certification.
Through careful coordination and scheduling, operations of the departments were never halted, allowing for a seamless transition from the old space to the new.
