This highly complex three-floor renovation in an occupied 10-story building continues Choate’s relationship with repeat client Americold Logistics. Choate has also constructed a 226,632-SF freezer-cooler facility for this global leader in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics.
Consisting of two phases, the schedule is carefully planned to keep Americold employees fully functional as construction progresses. Phase one includes demolition of existing building elements, while phase two installs new partitions, finish materials, and lighting, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Choate will seamlessly shift the Americold staff from one part of the building as demolition occurs and completes, moving the tenant into this area, and then proceeding with construction in the recently vacated other half.Highlights include stain-grade millwork, 3Form, glass surfaces, glass wall panels, fabric wall panels, acryilc light boxes, lacqured millwork, glass partitions, glass doors, operable wall, appliances, low voltage, access, WSHP and CWP, wood flooring, and luxury vinyl plank.
